We hope this message finds you well. On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine (CAAM), it is with a heavy heart that we share some difficult news regarding the future of our Association.

After careful consideration, the CAAM Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to cease operations and dissolve the Association, effective immediately. This decision follows a thorough review of CAAM’s prospects and its financial situation. Regrettably, we determined that it is no longer financially viable to continue our operations.

Over the past few months, the CAAM Board of Directors met several times virtually to discuss possible avenues for restructuring the organization and assessing its place in today’s market. Despite our best efforts, we faced numerous challenges, including a significant decline in membership numbers, reduced interest from sponsors, and increased competition from other organizations offering similar training and events.

While this decision is a painful one, we feel it is necessary to ensure that CAAM’s closure is done with responsibility and care.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to you for your unwavering support and valuable contributions over the years. Your dedication has been instrumental in our success, and we are truly thankful for the role you’ve played in CAAM’s journey.

We are proud of the work we have accomplished over the past 23 years, and we will forever cherish the relationships and achievements we’ve shared.

We fully understand the disappointment this news may cause and deeply apologize for any inconvenience. We ask for your understanding as we navigate these challenging times and move forward with the dissolution process.
