Dr. Natalie Skinner graduated from medical school in 2006 at the University of Ottawa, where she was the Gold Medal recipient. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at McGill University in 2008. After many years working in the Emergency Medicine Department, she chose General Practice, which provided the work-life balance she sought. This is where she was confronted with various dermatology cases. She increased her knowledge by completing the Cardiff Diploma in Practical Dermatology. She has since expanded her general and dermatology practice by offering aesthetics. Aesthetics provides a great mix of two of her passions: art and medicine. She finds challenging acne cases particularly rewarding because of the joy and confidence it brings to her adolescent patients.
Dr. Skinner enjoys sharing her passion for Dermatology with Residents at McGill where is a lecturer. She has also been invited to speak at the McGill Family Medicine Refresher Course.
Dr. Skinner spends her free time with her two children and pursues her love for the arts by taking ballet classes.
